CryptAPI Adds Support for MetaMask USD (mUSD) on Ethereum

MetaMask has announced MetaMask USD (mUSD), a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin issued directly within the MetaMask ecosystem. mUSD is available on Ethereum and was launched in compliance with the U.S. GENIUS Act.

Issued by Bridge, a Stripe company, and minted through the decentralized M0 protocol, mUSD is fully backed and designed for seamless integration with MetaMask’s services such as payments, swaps, and bridging.

Integration with CryptAPI

CryptAPI now supports MetaMask USD (mUSD) on Ethereum and Linea. Developers can easily enable it in their integrations by using the ticker: erc20/musd and linea/musd.

Payments are processed through the same simple API flow used for all other supported cryptocurrencies.

Update your integration to include the erc20/musd and linea/musd ticker and start accepting MetaMask USD payments today. No additional configuration is required if you are already using CryptAPI for ERC20 tokens.
