Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account or an API key?
No. There is no sign-up and no API key. You call the API with your wallet address and a callback URL, and CryptAPI returns a payment address.
Is there a minimum payment?
Yes. Each coin and token has a minimum amount per transaction, and it can differ between networks. CryptAPI ignores payments below it, and that money can't be recovered. Smaller payments are not added together to reach the minimum. If you split payments across several addresses, the minimum is higher.
When do I get paid?
Once a payment confirms on the blockchain, CryptAPI forwards it to your wallet, minus fees. It calls your callback URL after the number of confirmations you choose. How long that takes depends on the network. You can also ask to be told when a payment is first seen, before it confirms.
How much does it cost?
The fee starts at 1% of each payment and falls to as low as 0.25% as your volume over the previous 30 days grows. Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin also have a small minimum fee, so very small payments in those coins pay more than 1%. You also pay the network fee for forwarding the payment. There are no setup or monthly fees.
