CryptAPI Adds Support for TON

TON is now live on CryptAPI. The Open Network is a Layer 1 blockchain designed for mass adoption and closely integrated with Telegram, one of the most widely used messaging apps in the world. For developers, that means a new way to get paid by people who already hold crypto right inside their chat app, with funds going straight to your own wallet.

With the addition of TON, you can now accept payments in:

• GRAM (formerly Toncoin)
• USDT (Tether)

A Quick Note on GRAM

In June 2026, TON's native token was renamed from Toncoin (TON) to Gram (GRAM) following a community vote. The network is still called The Open Network, and nothing changed on-chain: same balances, same addresses, no migration required.

Why TON?

TON uses a sharded architecture that splits the network's workload across parallel chains, keeping transactions fast and fees low even under heavy load. Combined with native USDT and a wallet within easy reach of Telegram's massive audience, it's a practical rail for everyday crypto payments. For merchants, this means quick confirmations, minimal fees, and a stablecoin option customers already know and use.

How to Get Started

Integrating TON into your payment flows is seamless:
